AI for GDPR Compliance: In Conversation with Darktrace

As GDPR comes into effect, companies around the world are rethinking their security strategies. It currently takes companies an average of 191 days to detect a data breach, but with reports of data breaches now required within 72 hours, early detection is more important than ever. AI cyber defenses can detect the earliest signs of threats, wherever they emerge in a network. At the same time, AI can provide 100% network visibility and real-time notifications of external data transfer, helping companies comply with GDPR’s core tenants on the security and sharing of personally identifiable information. Most importantly, AI buys back time for security teams by acting autonomously to stop or slow cyber-threats

As a Regional Sales Manager, Jesse Hood has been instrumental in introducing Darktrace’s world-leading AI cyber defense technology to numerous companies throughout the Midwest. Over the 2.5 years, Jesse has been with the company, it has experienced a 3x increase in US customers. Prior to Darktrace, Jesse spent 8 years in technology sales leadership roles around the Denver area. A subject matter expert on various open source software consulting, governance, and support projects, Jesse is also experienced with source code debugging tools, as well as SIEM solutions.

Sppencer Eppstein is an Account Executive at Darktrace. He has worked to help clients of all sizes and industry verticals deploy Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System, the only AI technology capable of detecting and autonomously responding to early-stage cyber-threats. He began working at Darktrace almost two years ago in their San Francisco headquarters following his graduation from Yeshiva University in Manhattan. Last October he moved to Denver to help grow Darktrace’s presence throughout Colorado and the Mid-West Territories.
